Quick Intro to "The Kelita Way"!

The Kelita Way isn’t about starving yourself, missing out, counting every calorie, or eating boring “diet foods.” BTW - Diet fads are created to SELL you things, bottom line, we can do this all by ourselves and I'm going to share with you how!


It’s about lowering carbs, controlling cravings, and eating REAL foods that actually keep you full and satisfied. I don’t believe in perfection. I believe in progress, flavor, and creating a way of eating you can actually LIVE with.

  • No guilt.
  • No rabbit food.
  • No complicated rules or calculations
  • NO APPS! NO TRACKING! other than a mental note through out your day, if you can count to 25, you got this.

Just low-carb comfort food, simple swaps, and learning how to stay on track without feeling miserable 


 A few things you need to be aware of:

Some people experience what’s called the “Keto Flu” during the first few days of lowering carbs.

  • Symptoms can include:
    • Headaches
    • Tiredness
    • Brain fog
    • Crankiness 😈
    • Muscle cramps
    • Dizziness
    • Sugar cravings


The GOOD news?
This usually isn’t actual illness — it’s often your body adjusting and losing water + electrolytes as carbs are lowered.


  • 💧 The fix is usually:
    • More water
    • More sodium/salt
    • Electrolytes - You can actually get some in a squirt bottle to add to water.
    • Rest
    • Staying consistent


Most people start feeling MUCH better within a few days — and many notice:
🔥 less hunger
🔥 better energy
🔥 fewer cravings
🔥 reduced bloating

Stay Dirty, hydrate, and trust the process 🐾🔥


 

🥓 When will I be in ketosis?

Usually within:

  • 2–7 days for many people 
  • Sometimes longer if: 
    • carbs were previously VERY high 
    • insulin resistance is significant 
    • medications or hormones affect metabolism 

At roughly 20–25g carbs/day, many people can enter nutritional ketosis.

BUT — and this is important — ketosis is not magic by itself.
Weight loss still depends on:

  • how much someone eats overall 
  • insulin resistance 
  • medications 
  • hormones 
  • activity level 
  • consistency 


⚖️ When Would I Start Losing Weight?

Many people see:

  • 3–10 lbs in the first 1–2 weeks 
    • mostly water/inflammation at first 
  • Then: 
    • around 1–3 lbs per week afterward is common 


People often notice BEFORE the scale:

  • less bloating 
  • reduced cravings 
  • less hunger 
  • better energy 
  • reduced swelling 
  • clothes fitting differently
